Laser Treatment

Laser treatment is a light-based therapy. The light delivered during the procedure will target at the specific receptor in the skin to deliver its effects. Laser can be used to reduce the fine lines, to improve the skin quality, to remove pigment spots, and to remove the unwanted hairs, etc.  There are many types of laser available in the market. Each of them will deliver different result. You should discuss with your dermatologist or your plastic surgeon to find out which laser is right for your desired result.

Laser treatment is an office-based therapy. It will take approximately 30-60 minutes to perform. There will be very minimal to no downtime after the treatment. The treated area will need to be covered with vaseline to keep it moist for most laser. You should avoid direct sun exposure without sunscreen for at least 3 months after laser treatment to prevent skin darkening.
